ABOUT the ARTIST
Hi! My name is Ryan and I am deeply inspired by nature.
A few known facts about me... I'm obsessed with driftwood, cacti, decorating my house with as many house plants as possible and creating anything and everything.

Painter, photographer, designer and wood worker, I have dabbled in so many different art forms. I see an idea in my mind and I won't stop until it's a tangible piece of art.
I loving pushing my limitations and when I do, I try to come up with something that is unique and beautiful. Every one of my wood and moss pieces are different. They are made with both new and salvaged wood. Some pieces were rescued from a 100 year old barn in Justin, Texas and others were recovered deep in North Carolina. Preserved moss is used so there is zero maintenance required. (Perfect for those who want to add greenery in their homes but are missing the "green thumb"). The variations of grains, knots and textures in the wood, the different natural hues of the preserved moss along with the geometric patterns, create modern artwork that can be showcased anywhere.

I am also an avid painter. For as long as I can remember, I've had a paintbrush in my hand. I love painting landscapes in oil but my absolute favorite is my floral, succulent and cacti watercolors. Watercolors are so mesmerizing to me. I love how it is so hard to control. Sometimes you just have to let it be, relinquish control and let it take on a form of its own.

Currently I am selling my art on Etsy with free shipping within the lower 48.
